The Story of Siarhei
Hello, it’s great that you are visiting the website of my company.
My name is Serge. I was born in Belarus and I am an entrepreneur. I am someone who is honest, direct, and friendly, and who always tries to create value for others.
I grew up in an ordinary family and have always worked hard to achieve my goals. As a child, I loved cycling, football, and solving mathematical problems. At a young age I discovered that entrepreneurship suited me: I wanted to build something that is truly useful for people.
At a certain point, the idea came to specialize in PVC windows and window frames. In Belarus, winters can drop to –20°C, and I realized how important good windows are for warmth, comfort, and a dry home. In construction, there are two elements that matter most: the roof and the windows. I decided to focus on the second.
My journey began with learning the basics. I started working as an installer at an installation company. There I learned the trade and developed my skills. After some time, I decided to continue as a self-employed entrepreneur.
That period was educational and sometimes difficult, but I am grateful for the experience and for the professionals who trained me.
After two years, I was able to take my first big step: I started my own production company for PVC windows. Within a year, the company grew into one of the leading businesses in my region. That was my first real success as an entrepreneur.
An important lesson I learned there:
“Build a company for your employees, and your customers will be satisfied.”
When I later moved to the capital with my family and sold my company, four of my employees came to me and said:
“Siarhei, if you ever start another company, we would gladly work on your team again.”
That moment confirmed to me that I had chosen the right path.
From Belarus to the Netherlands
After this period, I started a new business selling cars, but that is another story.
At a certain point, I decided to follow my dream: to live abroad for a while. I was deciding between France and the Netherlands.
I first went to France. I found the country itself beautiful — the culture, the food, and the climate — but I noticed that the mentality suited me less.
That is why I decided to move to the Netherlands.
Here I immediately felt more at home.
The mentality, honesty, and openness of the people, as well as the strong economy, make the Netherlands for me one of the best countries in the world to live and do business in.
Why PMS – Professional Mounting & Service
When I started living in Rotterdam, I saw a clear problem in the market: there is a shortage of well-trained installers and high-quality service.
Too often window frames are installed without care, without responsibility, and without attention to service. Of course there are craftsmen, but they are rare.
That is why I decided to establish PMS – Professional Mounting & Service.
The foundation of our company is simple:
“A satisfied employee creates a satisfied customer.”
My goal with PMS is to grow into a reliable and innovative player in the Dutch market.
